Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) -
PMSBY is an Accident Insurance Scheme offering accidental
death and disability cover for death or disability on
account of an accident. It is a one-year cover, renewable
from year to year. The scheme is offered / administered
through National Insurance Company Limited. It is an
affordable accidental insurance for individuals aged
18 to 70, offering cover up to 2 lakhs.
Policy:
Risk cover is for one year, renewable from year to year.
Every year the policy is renewed in the month of May,
wherein balance in the account has to be maintained for
auto renewal of policy for the next Policy Year.
